OUR PURPOSE AT UPWARD LOOK MINISTRIES
Our purpose for existence as a ministry is to prepare a people to stand true to God when judgment shifts from the dead to the living at the passing of a National Sunday Law. For this purpose we establish and maintain ministry orientated businesses, which will aid in the spreading of the third angels message.

Soon there will be a time of trouble such as never was! We see signs everywhere that the time of trouble is eminent. Prophecies are rapidly fulfilling – and that the coming of Jesus is very near!
Our mission is the proclamation of third angels message – including the first two, found in Revelation 14:6-12.
The judgment forms the most integral part of present truth.
Present truth messages serves as preparation to stand true to God during the judgment.
The first and third angels messages points us particularly to the heavenly sanctuary – Jesus is currently in the heavenly sanctuary.
The first angels message: “Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His JUDGMENT is come…” (Revelation 14:7).
Judgment takes place in the heavenly sanctuary, in the Most Holy place (Revelation 11:18-19).
Jesus is currently in the Most Holy place, in the heavenly sanctuary interceding for us, while mercy is still lingering.
The third angels message :
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, and the faith of Jesus.”
God’s commandments are in the Most Holy place, in the heavenly sanctuary within the ark (Revelation 11:19).
To have a better understanding of the ministrations of the heavenly sanctuary, it is imperative that we understand the different aspects of the sanctuary services undertaken in the earthly.
The earthly sanctuary services beautifully portrayed God’s plan to save us from sin – the plan of salvation
The plan of salvation is part of the three angels messages and are meant to prepare us
to be faithful to God, during the mark of the beast crisis, and most importantly, the Judgment.

OUR TARGET
God’s purpose in raising up this ministry is firstly to reach the “lost sheep of the house of Israel,” and secondly those in Babylon and the world. As in type the door of mercy closed first for God’s ancient people in AD 34 while it was still open for the gentiles, so in anti- type the door closes first for Seventh – day Adventist Church then the world.
“Oh, that the people might know the time of their visitation! There are many who have not yet heard the testing truth for this time. There are many with whom the Spirit of God is striving. The time of God’s destructive judgments is the time of mercy for those who have had no opportunity to learn what is truth. Tenderly will the Lord look upon them. His heart of mercy is touched; His hand is still stretched out to save, while the door is closed to those who would not enter.”(T 97).
Therefore our mission is to arouse the Church by the startling proclamation of the third angels message before it’s forever too late, but at the same time not to neglect those in the world but warn and entreat them to flee from the wrath to come.
OUR WORK
Our work is centered in true education.
“Now, as never before, we need to understand the true science of education. If we fail to understand this, we shall never have a place in the kingdom of God”(MCP 53.2).
What is the purpose of true education?
“To restore in man the image of his Maker, to bring him back to the perfection in which he was created, to promote the development of body, mind, and soul, that the divine purpose in his creation might be realized—this was to be the work of redemption. This is the object of education, the great object of life”(Ed 15.2).
our focus
Jesus is currently in the Most Holy place in the heavenly Sanctuary.
It is imperative that we center our focus on Christ death – His sacrifice, and His finishing work as our mediator, in the heavenly sanctuary.
Jesus’ work in the sanctuary as our High Priest, is to establish reconciliation between us and God. In other words to bring us to a point where we can be counted As ONE with God – to reach a state of sinlessness.
Jesus wants to cleanse our hearts from sin. We, however, need to cooperate with Him. We need to surrender our hearts to Him, to be cleansed from all sin.
Jesus is currently busy with the final part of His meditorial work.
The fulfillment of prophetic events during these last days serves as a clear indication that the work of the cleansing of sin is almost completed!
The case of each and every individual must be investigated. This is called the investigative judgment judgment.
The commandments will be the standard by which the judgments will take place.
“The subject of the sanctuary and the investigative judgment should be clearly understood by the people of God.
All need a knowledge for themselves of the position and work of their great High Priest. Otherwise it will be impossible for them to exercise the faith which is essential at this time or to occupy the position which God designs them to fill… Each must meet the great judge face to face. How important, then, that every mind contemplate often the solemn scene when the judgment shall sit and the books shall be opened, when, with Daniel, every individual must stand in his lot, at the end of the days”(CIHS 124.3).
“The intercession of Christ in man’s behalf in the sanctuary above is as essential to the plan of salvation as was His death upon the cross. By His death He began that work which after His resurrection He ascended to complete in heaven”(CIHS 125.2).
Jesus’ death on the cross was the first phase of the plan of redemption.
The Lamb of God that was slain in the courtyard – which represents Jesus. We need to: “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”(John 1:29).
Our FOCUS is central to Christ’s death and mediatorial (finishing) work in the Most Holy place of the heavenly sanctuary.
